De Waal Park is a community park situated in the heart of the City Bowl, Cape Town, South Africa. Originally noted for the wide variety of trees in the park, it is now known for the social interaction of dogs, owners and children.
A cool retreat in summer, the dogs delight in the pond around the Victorian fountain whilst the children play on swings and round-abouts. Adults meet, exercise and socialize in this very special green space.

This website is the contribution of the Association of - to capture the rich life within De Waal Park and highlight its value to all who use it and live in the surrounding areas.
The website also offers everyone the opportunity to contribute towards forming a representative profile of visitors, neighbours, companies and Friends who care about its continued maintenance and improvement - by commenting on any article, submitting articles, pictures.
